Company Description The Motley Otters is India’s first on-demand activity center for kids, based in Mumbai. Operating from Bees and Cubs Pre-School in Nahar, the center offers a safe, play-based learning environment. Families can conveniently go online, choose classes, book sessions, and drop their child off for structured activities.

Children engage in a variety of programs such as art and craft, storytime, unstructured play, gymnastics etc. The center focuses on combining fun, creativity, and skill-building in a secure and nurturing setting.

Role Description The Center Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing daily operations of The Motley Otters activity center. The role includes managing class schedules, coordinating with instructors, and ensuring that all activities run smoothly and on time.

The Center

Manager will handle parent communication, respond to inquiries, manage bookings, and maintain a welcoming environment for children and families.

Responsibilities also include supervising staff, monitoring safety and hygiene standards, managing basic administration and inventory, and reporting on attendance and center performance.

Manager will work closely with leadership to implement new programs, support marketing initiatives, and continuously enhance the overall experience at the center.

Qualifications

- Experience in center management, school administration, or childcare facility coordination, preferably in an activity or education setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including scheduling, planning, and handling multiple classes and activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, families, instructors, and staff.
- Ability to maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and child supervision within a busy activity center.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and online booking platforms; ability to manage records and reports accurately.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in rapid-paced situations.
- Prior experience working with children or in early childhood education, enrichment programs, or recreational centers is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in education, childcare, management, or a related field is preferred.
