Role Description This is a full time, on-site Career Counselor role based in Gurugram.

The Career

Counselor will provide guidance to students and working professionals on suitable academic programs and career paths, aligning their aspirations with offerings from partner universities and institutes. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions (in person and over phone/video), assessing individual profiles, and recommending appropriate courses and career development plans.



The role involves explaining program structures, admission requirements, and outcomes, while maintaining accurate records of interactions and follow-ups in internal systems.

The Career

Counselor will collaborate with admissions, marketing, and academic teams, participate in outreach or information sessions, and support learners throughout the enrollment and course selection process.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide individualized guidance using Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management skills.
- Experience in Student Counseling, with a focus on supporting learners in academic and professional decision-making.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Management, or a related field; a counseling certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in counseling, academic advising, EdTech, or higher education admissions is preferred.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and online communication platforms to manage counseling activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a target-driven environment while maintaining ethical and learner-centric counseling practices.
