Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cad Designer role based in Surat.

The Cad

Designer will create detailed CAD models and technical drawings for diamond jewelry designs, translating design concepts into accurate digital representations ready for prototyping and production. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with designers and production teams, developing construction drawings, refining design details for manufacturability, and ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and quality standards.



The role also involves revising designs based on feedback, maintaining organized design files, and adhering to project timelines and specifications.

The Cad

Designer will contribute to new collections and custom pieces, supporting innovation and consistency in the Louis Diams product range.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Design Engineering for jewelry or related products.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Drawing to convert design ideas into precise visual representations.
- Experience creating Construction Drawings and production-ready documentation for manufacturing.
- Understanding of jewelry design principles, materials (diamonds, precious metals), and manufacturing processes.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work within brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with design, production, and quality teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in jewelry design, mechanical design, industrial design, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a CAD designer in jewelry or luxury goods is preferred.
