Business Operations & Strategic Finance Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-oriented professional to work closely with senior leadership across business operations, finance, strategy, and strategic projects.

The ideal candidate can take an ambiguous idea from leadership, structure the problem, analyze it, build a plan, and drive it through execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- QuickBooks, bookkeeping coordination, and monthly close
- Financial modeling, cash flow, profitability, and margin analysis
- Design and improve business workflows and processes
- Own strategic projects from problem identification to execution
- Build dashboards, reports, presentations, and operating processes
- Support venture/private-market/SPV activities including diligence, modeling, valuation,



and reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisers
- Identify practical opportunities for AI and automation
- Work independently on ambiguous, high-priority initiatives

Requirements

- MBA or strong business/finance background preferred
- 4–8 years of relevant experience
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
- Experience with QuickBooks, budgeting, and forecasting
- Solid problem-solving and project ownership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong presentation/deck-building skills
- Experience in Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, Investment Banking, PE/VC, Wealth Management, FP&A;, or similar
- Comfortable working independently and across multiple functions
- Ability to work Pacific Time
