NeoElectrify is hiring two Business Research Analysts. Analysts will research and qualify funding opportunities, analyze business data, and prepare applications, proposals and decision packages. Work will be divided by project needs, with one analyst generally carrying more opportunity research and the other generally carrying more proposal and data work. Both employees must be able to support the complete workflow from initial research through final review.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor central, state, utility, municipal and private funding programs, procurement notices and partnership opportunities relevant to EV charging, fleet electrification, energy infrastructure and manufacturing.
- Review guidelines, notices, addenda, frequently asked questions, application portals and award documents from authoritative sources.
- Prepare opportunity summaries covering eligibility, funding amount, match requirement, deadlines, required documents, scoring criteria, competitive position and major risks.
- Research future opportunities before formal release by tracking policy decisions, budgets, agency plans, utility filings and procurement calendars.
- Research fleet, site, corridor, property, market, customer and competitor data needed to evaluate business opportunities.
- Recommend whether NeoElectrify or a client should pursue, monitor or decline each opportunity and clearly state the supporting evidence and open questions.
- Translate approved opportunities into application work plans, requirement checklists, owners, dependencies and due dates.
- Prepare grant, rebate, procurement, partnership and commercial proposal drafts, including project descriptions, technical narratives, implementation plans and supporting schedules.
- Analyze customer, fleet, site, demographic, utilization, pricing, cost and market data and prepare decision-ready findings.
- Build and maintain Excel models for project budgets, funding match, operating scenarios, cash flow and sensitivity analysis.
- Prepare charts, maps,



tables and executive summaries that explain conclusions without overstating the available evidence.
- Collect and organize corporate, customer, site, utility, equipment, financial and partner documentation.
- Maintain opportunity trackers, funding calendars, source libraries, assumptions registers, application data rooms, version control and submission checklists.
- Reconcile application figures against approved models, quotes and source documents and escalate missing evidence or inconsistent numbers.
- Prepare responses to clarification requests, diligence questions, interviews and post-submission information requests.
- Coordinate work with the second Business Research Analyst and provide clear peer review and handoff records.

Required Qualificaitions

- Bachelor degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, public policy, energy, environmental studies or a related field.
- Two to four years of experience in business research, proposals, consulting, grants, market intelligence, financial analysis or project development.
- Strong qualified English reading, writing and editing skills, including the ability to summarize technical and policy documents accurately.
- Strong web research skills and confidence working with government portals, PDF guidelines, public datasets and structured trackers.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence preparing structured Word and PowerPoint documents.
- Ability to distinguish verified facts from assumptions, identify missing evidence and explain calculations and limitations clearly.
- Ability to organize large document sets and maintain reliable source, version and deadline control.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with EV charging, transportation, energy, utilities, infrastructure, sustainability or manufacturing projects.
- Experience preparing grant applications, public procurement responses, eligibility matrices, feasibility studies or investment memoranda.
- Familiarity with financial modeling, GIS outputs, dashboards, utility tariffs, grant databases or government procurement portals.
