Role Description The Business Development Intern will support the growth of SMS2ORBIT by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing prospective client relationships. This full-time, in office role is based in Vadodara and involves conducting market research, assisting in lead generation activities, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools. The intern will help prepare presentations and proposals, support outreach campaigns through calls, emails, and online platforms, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine targeting strategies.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include coordinating with internal stakeholders,



responding to initial customer inquiries, and contributing ideas to improve business development processes.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, assess trends, and support data-driven decision making.
- Effective communication skills for professional verbal and written interactions with clients and internal teams.
- Lead generation capabilities, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and maintaining lead databases.
- Market research skills to gather competitive insights, understand customer needs, and identify potential segments.
- Customer service skills to handle inquiries, provide clear information, and support positive client experiences.
- Basic understanding of sales or business development processes; prior internship or project experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Office or similar tools; familiarity with CRM systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Vadodara, manage time well, and collaborate within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
