Role Description The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving business growth, and ensuring high-quality customer service at the Delhi, India location. This full-time, in office role includes managing the branch team, setting performance targets, and monitoring key metrics related to loan disbursement, portfolio quality, and compliance.

The Branch

Manager will develop and execute local business development strategies, build relationships with SMEs, entrepreneurs, and referral partners, and identify opportunities for asset-backed lending and other customized financial solutions. Day-to-day activities involve supervising credit appraisal and documentation, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements,



and resolving customer issues promptly and effectively. The role also includes preparing periodic reports, coordinating with central and regional offices, and fostering a collaborative, ethical, and performance-driven branch culture.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong branch operations and team management skills, including staff supervision, performance monitoring, and workflow optimization.
- Candidates should possess business development and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage SMEs, entrepreneurs, and local partners to grow the branch portfolio.
- Candidates should possess credit assessment and risk management skills, including experience in loan evaluation, asset-backed lending, and adherence to credit policies.
- Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency in basic financial analysis, MS Office tools, and preparation of operational and performance reports.
- Relevant experience in SME lending, NBFCs, or banking, especially in asset-backed or working capital finance, is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Demonstrated integrity, compliance awareness, and familiarity with Indian financial regulations and RBI/NBFC guidelines are desirable.
