Role Description The Body Shop Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surendranagar. The person in this role oversees daily operations of the body shop, including workflow planning, allocation of jobs to technicians, and monitoring repair quality to ensure vehicles are restored to manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities include managing customer intake and updates, coordinating with insurance representatives, controlling costs, and ensuring timely delivery of vehicles.

Manager also works closely with workshop and aftersales teams to improve processes, maintain safety standards, and drive customer satisfaction scores.



This role involves supervising staff, maintaining tools and equipment, tracking performance metrics, and implementing initiatives to grow body shop revenue.

Qualifications

- Strong focus on customer satisfaction, with the ability to handle customer queries and resolve concerns effectively.
- Experience managing workshops or body shops, including workflow planning, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with customers, technicians, insurance representatives, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of aftersales operations, including service processes, warranty considerations, and cost control.
- Prior experience in automotive body repair management or service management, preferably within a dealership environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications and service management systems for tracking jobs and performance.
- Relevant technical or management qualification in automotive, mechanical, or a related field is preferred.
