Business Analyst – US Automotive / Automotive Dealer Management

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience and strong expertise in the US Automotive, Automotive Dealer Management, and Automotive Marketplace domain.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US automotive dealership business processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience working directly with US-based customers and stakeholders.

The role will also involve supporting AI-driven initiatives and digital transformation projects, where the candidate will help identify business use cases, gather requirements, define business outcomes, and work with technical teams to translate business needs into effective AI-enabled solutions.

The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and effectively translated into scalable business and technology solutions.

Work Model & Travel Requirement

This is a hybrid role based out of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

- Candidate should be open to travelling to Bhopal every month for approximately 10 days.
- For the remaining working days, the candidate can work remotely from their preferred location.
- Candidate should be comfortable working with US-based Clients.

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Automotive Domain

- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders and customers.
- Work closely with US-based clients and automotive stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, challenges, and expectations.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of US Automotive, Automotive Dealer Management, and Automotive Marketplace processes.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and digital transformation.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for technical and delivery teams.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, and other technical teams.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, discovery sessions, and clarification meetings.
- Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories,



acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and functional documentation.

AI Initiatives & Digital Transformation

- Support and contribute to AI-driven business initiatives and transformation projects.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify and evaluate potential AI USE within automotive and dealership processes.
- Translate business problems into well-defined AI use cases, business requirements, workflows, and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with Data, AI, Engineering, Product, and Technology teams to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives.
- Help define business KPIs, success criteria, acceptance criteria, and expected business impact for AI initiatives.
- Participate in discussions around AI-powered automation, intelligent decision-making, customer experience, operational efficiency, and process optimization.
- Support requirement validation, UAT, feedback collection, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging AI/GenAI capabilities and their potential applications within the automotive and dealer ecosystem.

Agile & Delivery

- Participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and requirement discussions.
- Support Agile project management practices and ensure requirements are appropriately prioritized and communicated.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, QA, Data, AI, and other cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively identify requirement gaps, dependencies, risks, and concerns.
- Communicate project updates, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Support UAT and business validation activities to ensure delivered solutions meet defined business requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.




- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong domain knowledge of US Automotive / Automotive Dealer Management / Automotive Marketplace.
- Good understanding of US automotive dealership business processes and workflows.
- Proven experience working directly with US-based customers/stakeholders.
- Strong requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable inputs for technical teams.
- Strong understanding of user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs/FRDs, process flows, functional specifications, and UAT.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams and supporting US business hours, when required.
- Open to travelling to Bhopal for approximately 10 days every month.

Good to Have

- Exposure to AI/GenAI initiatives, AI-powered business solutions, or digital transformation projects.
- Understanding of identifying and defining AI use cases and business requirements.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, including Boards, Backlogs, User Stories, Epics, Sprint Planning, and work-item tracking.
- Experience working with Azure-based technology or data/AI projects.
- Exposure to automotive Dealer Management Systems (DMS) or dealership technology platforms.
- Experience with US automotive sales, inventory, vehicle lifecycle, service, parts, CRM, finance, or dealership operations.
- Experience working with automotive marketplaces, OEMs, dealer groups, or related automotive ecosystem players.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a client-facing Business Analyst who combines strong BA and Agile expertise with practical knowledge of the US Automotive and Automotive Dealer ecosystem. The candidate should be capable of understanding complex business problems, identifying opportunities for AI and digital transformation, translating them into clear requirements, and working closely with business and technology teams to deliver effective solutions.

Solid US client-facing experience + US Automotive/Dealer domain knowledge + AI initiative exposure + Azure DevOps knowledge would be an ideal combination for this role.
