We are looking for an Audit Senior to independently handle audit assignments, supervise audit assistants, and ensure timely completion of statutory, tax, GST and internal audits with appropriate documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits and internal audits.
- Handle audit assignments for companies, LLPs, partnership firms and other entities.
- Conduct GST audit / GST compliance review, including reconciliation of books with GST returns and identification of tax, ITC and reporting differences.
- Review GST returns, e-invoices, e-way bills, input tax credit and output tax liability.
- Perform GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and books reconciliation and investigate variances.
- Review books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, invoices and supporting documents.
- Perform vouching, verification, reconciliations and analytical procedures.
- Review GST, TDS, payroll, bank and other statutory reconciliations.
- Prepare and review audit working papers, schedules and financial statements.




- Assist in preparation and review of Form 3CD, audit reports and other statutory reports.
- Identify accounting errors, internal control weaknesses, GST issues and statutory non-compliances.
- Supervise and review the work of Audit Assistants and Trainees.
- Coordinate directly with clients for information, explanations and audit documentation.
- Assist in handling GST notices, audit queries, departmental communications and assessments.
- Research and interpret applicable provisions of the Companies Act, Income-tax Act, GST laws and Accounting Standards.
- Monitor assignment timelines and ensure timely completion of audit work.
- Maintain proper audit documentation and ensure compliance with qualified standards.

Qualification
- B.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a Chartered Accountants firm preferred.
- Practical experience in GST and audit will be an advantage.
