Role Description The Assistant Production Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role supports in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily furniture manufacturing activities to ensure timely, high-quality output.

Responsibilities include tracking production schedules, allocating resources, coordinating with design and workshop teams, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The role involves overseeing workflow on the shop floor, resolving day-to-day operational issues, and supporting customization requirements for bespoke furniture projects.

Manager also helps maintain production documentation, monitors inventory of materials, and communicates progress and challenges to management and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in production planning, workflow coordination, and shop-floor supervision.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication, team collaboration, and stakeholder coordination across design, procurement, and workshop teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic inventory management, tracking materials, and supporting timely procurement.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in furniture manufacturing, interior fit-outs, or related production environments.
- Candidates should have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- A relevant diploma or degree in production management, industrial engineering, furniture design, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in an assistant or supervisory production role and familiarity with bespoke or customized products will be an advantage.
