Key Responsibilities

Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) - Administer and troubleshoot ZIA policies and configurations.

- Configure URL Filtering, Cloud Firewall, SSL Inspection and Advanced Threat Protection.
- Manage Zscaler Client Connector policies and forwarding profiles.
- Configure and troubleshoot PAC files / forwarding methods.
- Manage authentication and identity integration with AD / Azure AD / SAML / IdP.
- Configure ZIA Cloud Firewall rules and security policies.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity, authentication and application-access issues.
- Analyze ZIA logs and perform traffic investigation.
- Manage and troubleshoot ZIA Admin Portal configurations.
- Support policy changes, incident investigation and service requests.

Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) - Administer ZPA applications, application segments and access policies.

- Configure and troubleshoot App Connectors.
- Configure Server Groups, Segment Groups and Access Policies.
- Manage ZPA application discovery and application access.
- Troubleshoot user-to-application connectivity issues.
- Understand ZPA Private Service Edge / Public Service Edge concepts.
- Configure and troubleshoot Client Connector for ZPA.




- Support integration with Active Directory / Azure AD / SAML-based authentication.
- Analyze ZPA logs for application-access troubleshooting.

Zero Trust & Security - Good understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) concepts. - Understanding of SASE architecture. - Knowledge of secure internet access and private application access. - Understanding of identity-based access control. - Familiarity with security principles such as least privilege and conditional access.

Troubleshooting - Troubleshoot issues involving: - Zscaler Client Connector - Authentication - DNS - SSL inspection - PAC files - ZIA/ZPA policies - Application connectivity - App Connector - Internet browsing - Private application access - Perform packet captures and basic network troubleshooting. - Work with Zscaler TAC for complex issues. - Perform root-cause analysis and prepare incident reports.

Networking Knowledge Good understanding of: - TCP/IP - DNS - HTTP/HTTPS - Proxy concepts - SSL/TLS - Routing - NAT - Firewalls - VPN concepts - IPsec/GRE tunneling - Authentication protocols - SAML - Active Directory / Azure AD

Operational Responsibilities - Monitor Zscaler workplace and resolve incidents. - Handle L1/L2/L3 troubleshooting depending on experience. - Implement approved changes. - Participate in change and incident management. - Prepare SOPs and operational documentation. - Coordinate with network, security, IAM and application teams. - Participate in maintenance activities and troubleshooting bridges. - Maintain Zscaler configuration and operational documentation.
