Role Description The Assistant Manager Human Resources role is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves supporting end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and HR documentation.
Responsibilities include coordinating interviews, maintaining HR records, assisting in policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company procedures.
The Assistant Manager Human
Resources will collaborate with department leaders to identify staffing needs, support training and development initiatives, and handle day-to-day employee queries. The role also includes contributing to HR analytics, preparing reports for management, and assisting in continuous improvement of HR processes and workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Experience with HR policies, labor law compliance, and HR documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency in HRIS or HR management software and MS Office tools for data management and analytics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality in HR operations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or engineering organizations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
