Role Description The Area Sales Manager role is a full-time, in office position based in Rajasthan, India. The person in this role will oversee sales operations within the assigned territory, including managing distributor and retailer networks, driving product promotion, and meeting sales targets for cattle feed products. Daily responsibilities include visiting customers and channel partners,



identifying new business opportunities, conducting field demonstrations, and gathering market intelligence on competitor activities and customer needs.

The role also involves building long-term customer relationships, providing technical product guidance to dairy farmers, and supporting the development of strategic plans for area growth.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year work experience in animal nutrition
- Demonstrated skills in territory sales management, channel development, and key account handling.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, negotiate effectively, and convert leads into sustainable business.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with farmers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Experience in the dairy, animal nutrition, or agribusiness sector, with practical understanding of cattle feed and dairy farm operations.
- Working knowledge of local languages would be beneficial.
