The Role

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Apparel Designer who understands trends, garment construction, and commercial design, and who uses AI tools daily to speed up ideation and development. This is an in-person role in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

-Develop designs and seasonal collections based on brand needs and market trends.

-Create mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Firefly, Ideogram, ChatGPT).

-Use AI tools to accelerate trend research, print and colour exploration, and concept visualisation.

-Build detailed tech packs covering measurements, construction, trims, fabrics, and finishing.

-Work with sampling, sourcing, merchandising, production, and vendors to execute designs accurately.





-Review samples, give fit and construction feedback, and revise designs as needed.

-Maintain design documentation, sample records, and collection trackers.

Requirements

-Degree or diploma in Fashion or Apparel Design.

-2+ years of apparel design experience.

-Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, sizing, and fit.

-Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

-Well-versed in AI design and image-generation tools, with a portfolio showing how you use them.

-Strong trend sense, colour sense, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Valuable to Have

-Experience working directly with manufacturers or vendors.

-Category experience in womenswear, menswear, kidswear, or ethnic wear.

-Understanding of cost-conscious, commercial product development.
