Role Overview:

- Demonstrated experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting Alteryx workflows, data pipelines, and reporting solutions.
- Hands-on experience in analyzing, rationalizing, and decommissioning legacy Alteryx reports and workflows while ensuring business continuity.
- Strong knowledge of Alteryx Designer, SQL, ETL concepts, and data transformation techniques.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets across multiple source systems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient Alteryx solutions.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, data teams, and reporting users to optimize reporting processes and improve data quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Exposure to Tableau, Tableau Prep, Power BI,



or similar BI visualization tools is preferred.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or enterprise reporting environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- A suitable candidate should possess a proactive mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in an evolving environment.

Preferred Technical Stack:

- Mandatory- Alteryx Designer, SQL Server, Python
- Preferred- Tableau, Tableau Prep, Power BI, ETL Tools, JIRA.

Key Responsibilities & Skillsets:

- Common Skillsets:
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer for workflow development, automation, and optimization.
- Robust SQL skills including joins, stored procedures, query optimization, and data validation techniques.
- Experience in python or any programming language.
- Experience with ETL processes, data integration, data cleansing, and transformation methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and deliver client-ready solutions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Alteryx Development & Reporting Skillsets:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Alteryx workflows and automated reporting solutions.
- Analyze existing reporting landscape and identify opportunities for workflow simplification, consolidation, and automation.
- Support migration, modernization,



and decommissioning of obsolete Alteryx reports and workflows.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve data quality, workflow, and performance issues.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation practices, and governance requirements.
- Experience in workflow scheduling, monitoring, and performance tuning is preferred.

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering, computer applications, economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, , operations research or related analytics areas
- 3-8 years’ experience in Alteryx Development and Decommissioning, preferably in Life Insurance but not mandatory
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
