Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Air Freight Import Operation role based in Delhi, India. The position involves coordinating and monitoring incoming air freight shipments, including booking cargo, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include liaising with airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, transport partners, and customers to ensure accurate information flow and timely cargo delivery. The role also requires updating shipment status, resolving operational issues, maintaining records in internal systems, and supporting invoicing and cost control activities.



The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, meet service level commitments, and support customer queries related to import shipments.

Qualifications

- Experience in air freight import operations, including shipment coordination, documentation handling, and customs-related activities.
- Knowledge of international trade practices, Incoterms, and basic import regulations; familiarity with airline and freight forwarding processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines accurately.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and operational software or TMS systems commonly used in freight forwarding.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies, prevent delays, and maintain data accuracy.
- Prior experience in a freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain environment is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
