Role Description The After Sales Service Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for providing technical support and service for laboratory equipment and instruments after installation, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The specialist will respond to customer service requests, coordinate service visits, and ensure timely resolution of equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Typical tasks include conducting equipment inspections, documenting service activities, maintaining service logs,



and collaborating with sales and technical teams to address customer feedback. The role also involves training end users on proper equipment usage, promoting best practices in care and maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement in service quality.

Qualifications

- Strong technical aptitude for laboratory, scientific, or biomedical instruments, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Customer service and communication skills to manage inquiries, explain technical information clearly, and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple service requests, maintain accurate documentation, and meet service deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of inventory, spare parts management, and coordination with logistics or procurement teams for timely replacements.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, instrumentation, life sciences, or a related field.
- Prior experience in after-sales service, technical support, or field service for laboratory or medical equipment is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within the region for on-site service visits as required.
