Role Description The Advocate will work full time on-site at the firm’s office in Ernakulam, handling a range of legal matters primarily in property, civil, and corporate law. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing agreements, sale deeds, and other legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing opinions, pleadings, and case strategies. The role involves representing clients before courts, tribunals, and authorities, including NCLT, KRERA, DRT, and Family Courts, and coordinating with clients, colleagues,



and external stakeholders to manage cases and transactions.

The Advocate will also support due diligence for property and corporate transactions, assist with registration and land conversion processes, and contribute to LPO and litigation support assignments. Maintaining accurate case files, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding high standards of professional ethics are integral to this position.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in property law, conveyancing, land conversion, and real estate documentation, including drafting and registration of agreements and sale deeds.
- Experience in civil and corporate litigation, including handling matters before NCLT, KRERA, DRT, and Family Courts, and familiarity with relevant statutes and regulations.
- Proficiency in legal research, case analysis, and preparation of legal opinions, pleadings, notices, and other court-related documents.
- Ability to manage due diligence for property and corporate transactions, assess legal risks, and provide explicit, pragmatic advisory services.
- Strong client-facing skills, including clear communication, professional correspondence, and the ability to understand and align with client objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malayalam is highly beneficial.
- LL.B. from a recognized university and enrollment as an Advocate with the Bar Council; additional specialization in property or corporate law is an advantage.
