Role Description The Admissions Counselor role at The Skill Gurukul is a full-time work in office position responsible for guiding prospective learners through the entire admissions journey.

Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries, conducting counseling calls, understanding candidate goals, and recommending suitable programs based on their aspirations and background.

The role involves explaining course structures, fees, and outcomes, managing follow-ups, and supporting candidates through enrollment and onboarding processes.

Admissions Counselors maintain accurate records in CRM or enrollment systems,



collaborate with training and marketing teams, and provide a high standard of service to ensure a positive experience for all applicants.

Qualifications

- Solid interpersonal communication and general communication skills to engage effectively with diverse prospective learners.
- Customer service skills to provide clear, supportive guidance and handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments through consultative, ethical admission practices.
- Education-related skills or experience to understand training programs and align them with learner needs.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to explain complex information in a simple, structured manner.
- Comfort working remotely, with reliable internet access, self-motivation, and strong time management abilities.
- Experience with CRM tools or admission processes, and familiarity with skill development or edtech environments is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent practical experience in admissions, counseling, sales, or customer support.
