FIRSTCOMPANi (FIRSTCO LEGAL LLP) is a corporate services firm in Kerala. We help entrepreneurs with company formation, compliance, trademarks and business registrations across Kerala and beyond.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, Accountant to own our internal books, deliver sharp management reports, and use modern AI tools to work smarter.

? Location: Near Paragon Restaurant, Kozhikode, Kerala (On-site)

What you'll do

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Zoho Books: sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments
- Raise and track client invoices, follow up on receivables, and manage vendor payables
- Do monthly bank and payment gateway reconciliations
- Prepare data for and track GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS deductions and returns
- Maintain petty cash, expense claims and supporting documentation
- Prepare monthly MIS and management reports (P&L;, cash flow, receivables ageing, service-wise revenue) with clear insights for the founders
- Use AI tools like Claude to speed up reconciliations, report drafting, data analysis and documentation
- Coordinate with our auditor/CA for LLP annual compliance and year-end closing




- Help set up and improve accounting processes and controls as we scale

What we're looking for

- M.Com; Zoho Books Course compaltetion is a plus
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books (Zoho Invoice, Zoho Expense or Zoho Payroll is a bonus)
- Hands-on experience using Claude AI (or similar AI tools) for accounting, analysis and reporting work
- Strong reporting skills: able to turn Zoho Books data into explicit dashboards and summaries (Zoho Analytics is a plus)
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic Indian accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Organised, accurate, and comfortable working independently
- Good communication in English and Malayalam
