About StairlessJourney

At StairlessJourney, we aim to highlight accessibility in everyday environments and promote inclusive spaces for persons with disabilities. Our goal is to identify accessibility barriers, document accessible places, and encourage cities to become more inclusive. We are currently looking for a Research Intern who will support our work by conducting research and helping build information around accessible and non-accessible spaces.

Role Overview:

- Field operations director for infrastructure audits.
- Data quality controller for field research.




- Team coordinator managing volunteers on-ground.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create standardized checklists to assess ramps, lifts, and tactile paving.
- Train volunteer teams on proper physical site audit techniques.
- Schedule and assign specific neighborhoods for verification drives.
- Validate field reports and photos before adding data to records.
