Job Responsibilities

- Generate new business leads through field visits, networking, referrals, social media, online platforms, and other marketing channels.
- Identify and approach potential clients for weddings, corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, parties, venue events, and other event requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, hotels, resorts, vendors, and corporate partners.
- Understand client requirements, prepare proposals/quotations, and coordinate with the internal team for event planning and execution.
- Follow up with clients regularly regarding enquiries, quotations, meetings, approvals, bookings, and payments.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales targets and business development goals.
- Visit venues, hotels, resorts, corporate offices, and other potential business locations for client acquisition and partnership development.
- Promote GMart Events' services through digital marketing, social media, networking, and direct marketing activities.
- Coordinate with the management, event, decoration, catering,



and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of confirmed projects.
- Maintain proper records of leads, client follow-ups, sales status, meetings, and conversions.
- Collect client feedback and support the company in generating repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Event Management, Hospitality, or related fields preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and client-handling skills.
- Strong networking and business development abilities.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, field visits, and events.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media promotion will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with a team.
- Target-oriented, confident, proactive, and professional attitude.
- Knowledge of the Odisha market and local business network will be an advantage.
