About the Role

AK Production is looking for a skilled and responsible Mechanic / Service Technician for our Noida location.

The selected candidate will be responsible for machine installation, servicing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repair of equipment at customer locations.

This is a field-service role involving regular visits to customer locations, technical troubleshooting and coordination with customers and the internal team to ensure timely resolution of service issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and commission machines and equipment at customer locations.
- Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Troubleshoot machine and equipment breakdowns.
- Repair or replace faulty components.
- Attend customer service calls and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct testing after installation or repair.
- Prepare and maintain service reports and records.
- Coordinate with customers and the internal team regarding service requirements.
- Properly handle and maintain service tools and equipment.
- Travel to customer locations within Noida and nearby areas as required.

Required Skills

- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Experience in machine installation and commissioning.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Valuable fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of motors, sensors, wiring and basic control systems.
- Ability to use basic mechanical and electrical tools.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Customer handling and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare basic service reports.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:

- Barcode & Label Printing Machines
- Barcode / Thermal Printers

- Industrial Machinery & Equipment
- EAS / Electronic Article Surveillance Systems
- Retail / POS Equipment
- Electrical & Electronic Equipment

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience as a Mechanic, Service Technician, Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician or similar technical role is preferred.

Candidates with direct experience in barcode printers, thermal printers, labeling machines, printing/packaging machinery or EAS systems will be preferred.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or a relevant technical field preferred.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on technical experience may also be considered.

Location Requirement

Local candidates from Noida and nearby areas are preferred.

Candidates should currently be residing in Noida or nearby areas and should be comfortable travelling to customer locations within Noida and surrounding areas.

Candidates requiring relocation to Noida may not be preferred.
