We are looking for a Food Manufacturing & Compliance Manager to take ownership of our food manufacturing unit and help us build a scalable, compliant and well-structured manufacturing operation.

The person will be responsible for production processes, food safety, FSSAI compliance, SOPs, certifications, documentation, quality systems and day-to-day manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the food manufacturing unit
- Create, implement and maintain SOPs and work instructions
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, GHP, HACCP and other applicable food safety requirements
- Manage licenses, certifications, registrations and renewals
- Maintain all production, quality and compliance records
- Manage batch records, raw material records, finished goods records, cleaning records, pest control records, calibration records and other documentation
- Establish proper batch traceability and recall systems
- Implement quality checks for raw materials, production and finished products
- Identify bottlenecks and improve processes to increase production capacity and efficiency
- Train production staff on SOPs, hygiene and food safety practices
- Prepare the facility for audits, inspections and certifications




- Identify compliance and process gaps and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with laboratories, consultants, auditors and certification agencies
- Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation and housekeeping standards
- Build systems and processes that allow the manufacturing unit to scale without compromising quality or compliance

Requirements

- 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing, food processing or FMCG
- Good working knowledge of FSSAI regulations and food safety compliance
- Practical experience creating and implementing SOPs
- Knowledge of GMP, GHP and HACCP
- Experience maintaining manufacturing and compliance documentation
- Understanding of audits, inspections and certifications
- Basic understanding of production processes and quality control
- Willingness to work hands-on at the manufacturing facility
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to build and implement processes from scratch

Preferred: Experience working in a small/growing food manufacturing unit or FMCG brand.

Pay: ₹16,871.22 - ₹22,000.00 per month
