Job Summary

- Quilon Tanker is looking for a *Fleet Maintenance Executive* with hands-on experience in heavy commercial vehicle maintenance, preferably tanker trucks.
- The candidate will be responsible for keeping the fleet *secure, roadworthy and operational with minimum downtime
- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections of tanker trucks.
- Diagnose and coordinate repairs for mechanical, electrical, brake and suspension systems.
- Coordinate with workshops, mechanics, fabricators and service centres.
- Handle vehicle breakdowns, including outstation breakdown support.
- Coordinate tanker body, welding, fabrication, valves and fittings-related work.
- Manage accident repairs and vehicle insurance claims.
- Maintain records of servicing, repairs, breakdowns, tyres and maintenance costs.
- Coordinate with drivers and the Operations Team to reduce downtime and improve *Truck TAT*.
- Identify recurring problems and take corrective action.

Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in *Mechanical Engineering*.




- 2–5 years of experience in heavy vehicle workshops, fleet maintenance or transport companies.
- Good knowledge of *heavy commercial vehicle / truck maintenance*.
- Tanker truck maintenance experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, tanker fittings, valves and piping is an advantage.
- Experience in breakdown and workshop coordination.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle insurance and accident repairs.
- Good driver and workshop personnel handling skills.
- Good communication skills in *Tamil and English*. Hindi is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel for breakdowns and workshop-related work
