Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing & Estimation Engineer to handle project estimation, quantity take-offs, billing, cost calculations, and commercial documentation for construction projects. The candidate will coordinate with site teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure accurate measurements, timely billing, and effective cost control.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed estimates and cost calculations for civil construction projects.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Prepare rate analysis for various civil and construction activities.
- Prepare contractor and subcontractor bills based on actual site measurements.
- Verify measurements submitted by contractors and site teams.
- Prepare and maintain measurement sheets and billing records.
- Check work quantities against approved BOQ and project specifications.
- Prepare client bills, RA bills, subcontractor bills, and running account statements.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers and Project Managers for measurement verification.
- Track project quantities, material consumption, and work progress.
- Assist in preparing project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets and identify variations.
- Prepare variation statements and additional work estimates.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents submitted by contractors and vendors.
- Maintain proper records of bills, measurements, purchase orders, work orders, and agreements.
- Coordinate with procurement and accounts teams for billing and payment processes.
- Assist in tender preparation, quotation comparison, and cost analysis.
- Review drawings and identify changes affecting quantities and project costs.
- Prepare daily,



weekly, and monthly commercial reports.
- Support final billing, reconciliation, and project closure activities.
- Ensure all billing and estimation work complies with project specifications and company procedures.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in billing, estimation, quantity surveying, or construction commercial operations.
- Solid knowledge of civil construction methods and materials.
- Good understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, measurements, and billing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of quantity surveying and cost estimation.
- Experience preparing RA bills and subcontractor bills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work with project deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in residential buildings, commercial projects, infrastructure, industrial construction, or large-scale civil projects will be preferred.

Experience with contractor billing, client billing, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and quantity surveying will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
