Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 3+ years of experience in PDI, Incoming Quality, Process Quality, and CNC/VMC machining. The candidate should have strong knowledge of inspection, quality control, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Incoming Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection).
- Inspect CNC, VMC, VTL, Lathe, and machined components as per drawings and specifications.
- Conduct dimensional inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor process quality and identify deviations, defects, and quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, PDI reports, NCRs, and quality records.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, and Stores for resolution of quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Support reduction of rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Maintain calibration and proper use of measuring instruments.




- Ensure quality standards are followed throughout the manufacturing and dispatch process.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Quality Control in a machinery or engineering manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience in PDI, Incoming Inspection, and Process Inspection.
- Experience with CNC/VMC and machining components preferred.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, RCA, CAPA, 5 Why, and 8D will be an advantage.
- Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
