About Solaris Studio

Solaris Studio is a YouTube production agency that works only with Tech and AI creators. We handle everything from idea to finished video for creators in India and abroad.

About the role

We are looking for a writer who enjoys going deep on different topics preferably AI and technology and can turn complex topics into scripts people actually watch till the end. You will work directly with our Content Lead and write long-form YouTube scripts for our clients and in-house channels.

What you will do

- Research a variety of topics using expert or reliable sources
- Build outlines and write first drafts of long-form YouTube scripts (8 to 20 minutes)
- Write in each creator's voice so the script sounds like them, not like you
- Write hooks and intros that hold attention in the first 30 seconds
- Fact-check every claim and keep a source list for each script
- Revise drafts based on feedback from the Content Lead and the creator

What we are looking for

- 1 to 3 years of writing experience (YouTube scripts, explainers, newsletters, or tech journalism)
- Solid written English
- Real interest in AI and tech. You should already follow the space without being told to
- Ability to explain a technical idea simply without getting it wrong
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, but able to write in a human voice
- Reliable with deadlines across multiple projects

Good to have

- Experience writing for YouTube creators or a content agency
- English, Hindi or Hinglish writing ability
- Understanding of YouTube retention and audience behaviour

Please note: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short assignment as part of the hiring process.
