Job Description – Patient Navigator

Organization: Portea Medical (Medybiz Pharma – Astellas Project)

Location: Bangalore and Chennai

Position Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Patient Navigator to support

cancer patients enrolled in the Astellas Project. The ideal candidate will educate

patients about the program, provide continuous follow-up, and coordinate with hospital

stakeholders to ensure a smooth patient journey.

Key Responsibilities

* Visit hospitals and interact with cancer patients to explain the benefits of the Astellas

patient support program.

* Conduct 1–4 patient visits per day.

* Build rapport with patients and address their queries with empathy.

* Follow up with patients regularly to ensure continuity of care and program

adherence.

* Coordinate with hospital staff and healthcare professionals whenever required.





* Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and submit daily activity reports.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and patient confidentiality guidelines.

Eligibility

* Experience: 6 months to 3 years.

* Preferred candidates from a healthcare, hospital, pharmaceutical, or patient care

background.

* Experience in handling patients and communicating with them effectively.

* Robust interpersonal and communication skills.

* Willingness to travel locally for hospital visits.

Compensation & Benefits

* Daily Allowance: ₹200 per day other than fixed CTC (for field visits).

Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
