Roles and Responsibilities :
- Review and edit manuscripts, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in language usage.
- Collaborate with authors to ensure that the final product meets their vision and expectations.
- Conduct thorough research to verify facts, dates, names, and other details in the text.
- Coordinate with designers, typesetters, and production staff to prepare books for printing or digital publication.
Job Requirements :
- 1-8 years of experience in book publishing or related field (copy editing).
- Solid understanding of grammar rules, syntax, punctuation, spelling, and style guidelines.
- Proficiency in e-publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or similar tools.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
