Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bartender role based at GRT Grand Hotels Resorts in Kochi. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, following established recipes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests, taking orders, recommending drink options, and ensuring accurate billing and cash handling. The role involves maintaining bar stock, setting up and closing the bar, keeping the bar area clean, and complying with food and beverage safety regulations.



The Bartender will also collaborate with the service team to support smooth operations and deliver a welcoming, skilled guest experience.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess solid Food & Beverage and Bartending skills to prepare, present, and serve drinks according to standards.
- Candidates should possess reliable Cash Handling skills to manage billing, payments, and cash transactions accurately.
- Relevant bar or hospitality experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of local and international beverages, basic mixology, and responsible service of alcohol is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand for extended periods.
- Professional appearance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and hygiene standards.
- A hospitality-related certification or bartending training is an advantage.
