Job Overview

We are hiring Food Production Machine & Plant Operators for permanent employment with a leading food production operation in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of direct professional experience in food production. Hands-on experience with food manufacturing machinery, automated production equipment, process lines, filling lines, or packaging lines is essential.

Candidates without direct food-production experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor machinery and production equipment used in food manufacturing.

- Set up, adjust, operate, and change over production machines.

- Monitor production processes and identify and resolve basic machine or process faults.

- Work on process, filling, and packaging production lines as required.

- Perform and support quality checks during production.

- Record and maintain production-related data and documentation.

- Follow food hygiene, quality, and food-safety standards, including HACCP requirements.

- Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and assigned work areas.

- Ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and quality-focused production operations.

Requirements

- Completed vocational training in one of the following:

- Machine and Plant Operator with specialisation in Food Production

- Food Technician / Food Technology Specialist

- Comparable technical or vocational qualification

- Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience directly in food production – mandatory.

- Hands-on experience operating production machinery and automated equipment.





- Experience with food processing, filling, or packaging lines is preferred.

- Good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards.

- Knowledge of HACCP is an advantage.

- Reliable, responsible, and quality-oriented approach to work.

- German language: Minimum B1 required to enter the placement process.

- Candidate must be willing and able to achieve B2+ German before travelling to Germany.

German Language Requirement

- B1 German: Minimum requirement to enter the placement process.

- B2+ German: Required before entry to Germany.

- Language Package: €250 up to the required B2+ level.

Candidate Costs

- Placement Fee: €0 – No placement fee for candidates.

- Language Package: €250 up to B2+ target level.

- Flight to Germany: Paid by candidate.

- Rental deposit: Paid by candidate.

- First month's rent: Paid by candidate.
