Accessibility QA
Reporting Structure: Reports to Senior Engineer QA / Lead QA
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / BCA / MCA
Experience / Qualifications:

- 1–3 years of QA experience in accessibility testing.
- Valuable understanding of accessibility testing processes.
- Hands-on experience with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, Voice Over), keyboard navigation, Browser Stack, CCA, WAVE, axe-core, Lighthouse.
- Basic knowledge of WCAG 2.2, ARIA roles, semantic HTML.
- Familiarity with Jira and Git.
- Preferred: Accessibility training or certifications (IAAP, DHS Trusted Tester).

Responsibilities:

- Assist in reviewing requirements for accessibility testability.
- Develop accessibility test assets (test cases, scripts, data) under guidance of Senior/Lead QA.
- Execute accessibility tests across web and mobile platforms.
- Validate color contrast, focus order, ARIA attributes, and keyboard navigation.
- Report accessibility issues with evidence (screenshots, logs).
- Provide timely test status updates to Senior/Lead QA.
- Support rescans and closure testing after developer fixes.
- Follow ReBIT QA best practices and accessibility CoE processes.
