About Occibo

Occibo is an AI-powered SaaS platform for children's book creation, built by Indie Kidz GmbH in Berlin. We are a small, remote-first team looking for a QA Engineer to help us build and maintain automated testing so we can ship new features quickly and with confidence.
Employment type

Full-time position.

Salary: up to 3.5 lakhs per year

Tasks

What you will do:

- Build end-to-end UI test automation for the Occibo web app
- Write test plans, test cases, and regression suites for core user flows
- Translate product requirements into automated checks, including edge cases
- Collaborate with the development team on test data strategies and reliable selectors
- Add API level tests to support UI testing and improve overall reliability
- Run tests in CI pipelines, track failures, and help keep the test suite stable and maintainable
- Use AI tools to speed up test creation, analysis, and maintenance
- Document testing processes, findings, and quality recommendations

Tools you will work with

Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, Vitest, Git Hub Actions, Postman

Requirements

We are looking for:

- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing or QA automation
- Experience with at least one test automation framework — Playwright or Cypress preferred
- Comfortable with Java Script or Type Script and Git
- Understanding of CI pipelines and reliable test design
- Experience using AI tools in a testing or development workflow
- Fluent English
- Comfortable working in EU time zones or with significant overlap during European business hours




- Motivated to work in an early-stage startup environment where things move fast and ownership is expected

Nice to have

- Prior SaaS UI automation experience
- API testing experience with Postman or REST clients
- Based in Indonesia or able to work in the Indonesia time zone
