We are seeking an accomplished SAP Ariba Consultant to join our dynamic team in a pivotal client-facing role. In this capacity, you will serve as a strategic partner, managing the end-to-end delivery of SAP Ariba solutions. Your core responsibilities will include leading implementation projects, optimizing procurement processes, ensuring seamless integration with primary ERP systems, and driving digital transformation initiatives for our clients.
Location: Bhubaneswar, Singhitarai, Nellore, or Mansa
Responsibilities

- Project Leadership: Oversee comprehensive SAP Ariba implementation projects, steering the initiative from initial design and configuration through testing, deployment, and ongoing post-launch support.

- System Design & Customization: Design, configure, and adapt SAP Ariba modules to align with specific client requirements and industry standards. Key focus areas encompass Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Procurement (Ariba Buying & Invoicing), Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), and Ariba Network Commerce Automation.

- Integration Management: Partner with technical teams to establish robust connections between SAP Ariba and core ERP systems (specifically S/4HANA) using the SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), ensuring reliable data flow for purchase orders, invoices, and essential documentation.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops with key decision-makers across Procurement, Accounts Payable, Legal, Finance, and IT to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into accurate functional and technical specifications.

- Data Governance: Direct data migration, cleansing, and standardization activities, including supplier master data deduplication, catalog alignment, and the establishment of user roles and approval hierarchies.

- Training & Enablement: Provide extensive user training, create detailed documentation (such as configuration guides, process maps, and user manuals), and offer continuous support to enhance user adoption and system performance.

- Testing Coordination: Lead testing phases including Functional Unit Testing (FUT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), while overseeing defect resolution and cutover planning.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on emerging SAP Ariba innovations and industry trends to suggest system enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience.

- Module Optimization: Manage and refine existing company modules for Ariba P2P (Buying & Invoicing) and Contract Management.

- Liaison Duties: Serve as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders (Procurement, AP, Legal, IT) and Ariba support teams.

- Catalog Management: Oversee catalog administration, including the setup of punchout catalogs, maintenance of vendor price lists, and strategies to prevent unauthorized spending.

- Process Automation: Optimize invoice-to-pay workflows to reduce manual effort, resolve invoice discrepancies, and secure early payment discounts.

- Reporting: Create and maintain monthly procurement dashboards that track spend under management, contract compliance, and purchase order cycle times.

Requirements

- Experience: 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Ariba Consultant, with a proven track record of leading full-cycle implementations.

- Module Proficiency:

Strong practical configuration skills in at least two to three core SAP Ariba modules, such as Sourcing, P2P, SLP, or Contracts.

- Integration Capabilities: Demonstrated experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP ECC or S/4HANA. Proficiency with the SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) is essential.

- Process Expertise: Deep understanding of Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operational workflows.

- Business Insight: Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain business processes, including supplier management and strategic sourcing strategies.

- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification: SAP Ariba certification(s) for one or more relevant modules is highly preferred.

- Techno-Functional Ability: Hands-on experience with technical components such as Ariba APIs, custom mapping within CIG, and approval flow configuration.

- Advanced Modules: Experience with Ariba Guided Buying, Spend Visibility, and SAP Fieldglass is considered a significant asset.

- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and SAP Activate implementation frameworks is beneficial.

- Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., French) is advantageous for global engagements.
