Job Summary:
The Business Analyst supports global recruiting transformation initiatives by translating business needs, stakeholder input and recruiting workflows into clear business requirements, future-state processes and implementation-ready documentation. The role works across Recruiting, Product, Technology, HRIS, Operations and geography teams to understand current-state processes, identify gaps and regional variations, define business and functional requirements, and support solution validation through implementation. The Business Analyst helps ensure that new recruiting technology, process changes and site or country rollouts solve the approved business need and can be adopted consistently across geographies.
Responsibilities:
•Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews and process-mapping workshops for recruiting technology, process and transformation initiatives.
• Document and analyze current-state processes and design future-state workflows, including global standards and approved geography-specific variations.
• Translate business needs into business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, business rules, process flows, decision trees and acceptance criteria.
• Identify process gaps, conflicting requirements, unclear ownership, control risks, dependencies and opportunities for simplification or automation.
• Partner with Recruiting, Product, Technology, HRIS, vendors and other stakeholders to clarify business requirements and ensure proposed solutions align with approved recruiting workflows.
• Maintain requirements traceability from business need through solution design, testing, implementation and post-go-live changes.
• Support solution reviews and user-journey validation by confirming that proposed functionality addresses documented requirements.
• Support UAT planning and execution by defining business scenarios, expected outcomes and acceptance criteria; assist with defect triage and requirements clarification.
• Assess the impact of system or process changes on recruiters, hiring managers, administrators and other user groups.
• Support current-country, new-site and client/program implementations by documenting local requirements, dependencies and required process variations.
• Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, playbooks, RACI matrices and supporting documentation for approved future-state processes.
• Coordinate documentation reviews, approvals, version control and change history so requirements and process documentation remain current and auditable.
• Partner with Enablement to ensure approved process and system changes are translated accurately into training and adoption materials.
• Support post-go-live reviews to identify gaps between designed and actual processes and recommend corrective actions or enhancements.
Skills Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, transformation, HR/recruiting operations, or enterprise technology implementation.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping current/future-state processes, and working with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, UAT, or multi-site/process transformation initiatives.
• Process mapping and workflow tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or comparable platforms.
• Documentation and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Share Point, Confluence, or comparable tools.
• Working experience with ATS, CRM, HRIS, recruiting technology, or other enterprise workflow systems; direct recruiting-system experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to use Excel for requirements tracking, data validation, reconciliation, and basic analysis.
• Experience supporting recruiting, HR technology, CRM, ATS or other enterprise system implementations.
• Experience with Agile delivery, user stories, UAT and defect triage.
• Experience supporting global or multi-site operating environments.
• Knowledge of recruiting funnels, candidate journeys and high-volume recruiting operations.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in business analysis, operations, HR/recruiting, process improvement, technology implementation or a related discipline.
