ROLE SUMMARY

A Chartered Accountant with strong practical experience in accounting and taxation software, working closely with the
Product and Development team. The role covers technical research, product improvement, competitor software
analysis and functional QA,



all from an accounting and taxation perspective

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research accounting, GST, TDS, inventory and taxation requirements for new product features.

• Explore and evaluate other accounting and taxation software to identify practical features and industry best practices.

• Suggest new features and improvements to the product based on practical accounting requirements.

• Perform functional QA and testing of accounting, GST, taxation, inventory and reporting features before release.

• Verify accounting entries, calculations, reports and compliance logic for accuracy.

• Identify functional gaps, edge cases and incorrect accounting or tax treatments.

• Work closely with the Product, Development and QA teams to explain accounting and taxation requirements.

• Stay updated with changes in GST, TDS, Income Tax and other relevant regulations.
