Introduction:

The Principal Engineer for Power Architecture leads and mentors engineers in designing and delivering SoC power architectures. This role defines custom integrated circuit (IC) architectures across system design, software, and implementation, translating them into detailed execution plans.

Your Job
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with system hardware, system software, RTL design, DFT, physical design, foundry technology, and IP design teams to define robust SoC power architectures.




• Develop and evaluate SoC power-management hierarchies to recommend the optimal architecture.
• Assess switchable and multi-voltage domains, back- and forward-body biasing, and energetic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) to recommend effective power-management and reduction techniques.
• Define execution plans, robust methodologies, and clear documentation to guide implementation teams.
• Champion the development, deployment, support, and maintenance of state-of-the-art, scalable processes and methodologies using AI/ML and EDA technologies.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing engineering team.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
