Job Summary:

Lead and manage sales activities for the Chennai region, focusing on business development and achieving sales targets for our products/services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and client relationship management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and expand the customer base within the Chennai region.
* Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
* Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and analyze sales data to inform strategy.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their needs and presenting appropriate solutions.
* Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability.
* Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management.
* Collaborate with marketing, product development,



and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in sales management.

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
* Minimum of 7+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales management role.
* Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Thorough understanding of the Chennai market and business landscape.
* Results-oriented with a robust business acumen and analytical skills.
