Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, deploy, and support custom React applications within Domo.
• Build applications that interact with Domo datasets, Collections, APIs, Workflows, and other platform services.
• Develop and maintain scalable Magic ETL dataflows supporting analytical and operational applications.
• Design complex transformations, joins, aggregations, business rules, and data-quality processes.
• Optimize existing ETL pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Design and implement Domo Workflows to automate business processes, approvals, notifications, system actions, and data-driven decisions.
• Build and maintain solutions utilizing Domo Collections for application and workflow use cases.
• Work extensively with JSON, including nested objects, arrays, payload construction, parsing, transformations, and API request/response structures.
• Develop and maintain REST API integrations between Domo and external enterprise systems.
• Develop advanced SQL queries supporting data transformation, analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain Domo datasets, DataFlows, Beast Modes, cards, dashboards, alerts, and related platform assets.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across React applications, APIs, Workflows, Collections, ETL pipelines, and datasets.
• Perform root-cause analysis of production issues and implement sustainable solutions rather than temporary fixes.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.
• Establish and follow development standards for reusable code, naming conventions, documentation, testing, and deployment.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Partner with business analysts, data engineers, developers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced Domo analysts when appropriate.

Skills:
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in any analytical tools.
• Extensive experience developing and deploying React applications within the Domo ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Domo Magic ETL.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Domo Workflows.
• Strong experience developing solutions utilizing Domo Collections.
• Advanced understanding of JSON, including nested structures, arrays, serialization, parsing, and payload manipulation.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong SQL skills, including Complex joins, CTEs, Window functions, Aggregations, Conditional logic, Data transformations and Query optimization
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT architecture, data modeling, and data-quality principles.
• Experience working with Domo datasets, DataFlows, Beast Modes, cards, dashboards, and platform services.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities across front-end applications, APIs, workflows, and data pipelines.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications and data solutions in production environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using Domo as an application development and operational platform, not exclusively as a visualization tool.
• Experience with Domo App Studio and custom application development.
• Experience with Git or similar source-control platforms.
• Experience working within formal development, testing, and production deployment processes.
• Experience integrating Domo with enterprise APIs, cloud databases, and third-party platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern software-development practices.
• Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale or high-volume datasets.
• Experience within financial services, banking, healthcare, insurance, or another regulated enterprise workplace.
