Migration Lead – Okta to Microsoft Entra ID

The primary objective is to orchestrate the strategic shift from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring seamless continuity and robust security throughout the lifecycle. This position serves as the central hub for technical governance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration, playing a critical part in modernizing the organization's identity infrastructure while maintaining high standards of operational stability and user experience.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and govern User Acceptance Testing (UAT) protocols to validate system integrity and functional accuracy during the migration phases.

- Manage the identification, tracking, and resolution of defects while coordinating dependencies across various technical teams.

- Develop and execute comprehensive risk management strategies to anticipate and mitigate potential disruptions to business operations.

- Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project milestones and technical requirements.





- Drive the preparation of the production workplace to ensure full operational readiness prior to go-live.

- Lead the post-deployment hypercare period and establish structured knowledge transfer mechanisms to empower internal teams.

- Direct the end-to-end migration leadership, managing the architectural complexity of moving from Okto to Microsoft Entra ID.

- Architect and maintain robust identity lifecycle management frameworks to support long-term scalability and compliance.

- Proven expertise in managing the specific technical migration path from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID.

- Strong proficiency in establishing UAT governance models and overseeing testing lifecycles.

- Demonstrated capability in handling defect management, dependency tracking, and risk assessment.

- Experience in ensuring operational readiness and managing hypercare support phases.
