About The Role

We are seeking Backend Software Engineers to contribute technical expertise to a next-generation AI training initiative. You will design realistic, challenging coding tasks involving feature implementation, bug fixes, and deterministic verification, helping AI systems improve their ability to solve real-world software engineering problems.

This role is ideal for experienced backend engineers who enjoy working with complex codebases, building scalable services, debugging technical issues, and evaluating whether software solutions are correct, robust, and reliable. Prior AI experience is not required.

• LOCATION: Remote — APJ, NAMER, LATAM, and EMEA
• SCHEDULE: Flexible — choose your preferred hours and working days, including weekends





Key Responsibilities

• Design realistic and challenging coding tasks involving feature implementation and bug fixes
• Create tasks that reflect authentic backend engineering workflows and practical software development challenges
• Develop deterministic verifiers that accept reasonable valid solutions and reject incorrect implementations
• Build and validate solutions using backend programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, or C++
• Develop tasks involving scalable services, APIs, debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing
• Review code quality, maintainability, correctness, and adherence to technical requirements
• Design evaluation criteria that distinguish robust solutions from superficially plausible implementations
• Incorporate security considerations into tasks and verifiers where applicable
