Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hostess role based at Oraka - Kitchen & Bar in Udaipur. The Hostess will welcome guests, manage waitlists, and guide guests to their tables while ensuring a smooth flow of service. Daily responsibilities include handling reservations, responding to phone and in-person inquiries, coordinating with the serving staff, and maintaining an organized front-of-house area. The role also involves providing clear and courteous information about menus, events, and seating options, as well as addressing guest needs and concerns promptly.



Consistent professionalism, a friendly demeanor, and attention to detail are essential to creating a positive first impression and overall guest experience.

Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to create a welcoming and qualified guest experience.
• Experience with reservations and basic host/hostess systems, including managing waitlists and table assignments.
• Clear communication skills for in-person interactions and coordination with team members.
• Professional phone etiquette for handling booking inquiries, guest questions, and follow-up calls.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Prior experience in restaurants, bars, or hotels is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi or local languages is beneficial.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
