Job Description: Senior Specialist / Lead – CCS Fund Accounting

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Fund Accounting Specialist to oversee and execute end-to-end investment fund accounting operations. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation, GL mapping and integration, complex reconciliations, fund conversions, and client onboarding. You will be responsible for managing financial books, performing break investigations, handling FX spot/forward trade life cycles, and ensuring rigorous accounting standards across diverse investment fund structures.

Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Fund Accounting & NAV Calculation
• Perform accurate end-to-end accounting processing and compute precise Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
• Maintain General Ledger (GL) and subledger accounting entries in strict compliance with GAAP/IFRS and accrual accounting principles.
• Manage balance sheet components, ensuring proper accounting for assets, liabilities, accruals,



and partner/investor capital accounts.
• Execute accurate accrual accounting entries for interest, dividends, corporate actions, and fund expenses.

2. Reconciliations & Complex Recon
• Perform daily/periodic cash reconciliation and position reconciliation across prime brokers, custodians, and counterparties.
• Handle complex reconciliations involving multi-currency transactions, derivative instruments, and complex asset classes.
• Lead break investigation and troubleshooting to identify root causes of discrepancy, driving timely resolution of cash and position variances.

3. GL Mapping, Integration & Fund Conversion
• Lead GL mapping and GL integration initiatives when onboarding recent accounting platforms, systems, or fund structures.
• Execute fund conversions, transitioning historic financial records, portfolio holdings, trial balances, and investor data from legacy systems or previous administrators smoothly.
