Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the technical team across development, QA, and infrastructure functions
• Own end-to-end technical delivery of IT projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence
• Drive Agile practices including Sprint Planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
• Architect and review solutions built on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
• Oversee database design, optimization, and query performance across MS SQL and MySQL environments
• Manage version control workflows and code repositories using GitHub
• Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external/clients) to gather requirements, set expectations, and provide regular project updates
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and best practices across the technology stack
• Evaluate and integrate PHP-based legacy or parallel systems where required
• Identify technical risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies
• Support hiring, training, and performance evaluation of technical team members




• Liaise with leadership to align technology strategy with business goals

Requirements

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in a Technical Head or equivalent leadership role
• Robust proficiency in Java and Spring Boot (mandatory)
• Working understanding of Angular
• Solid experience in PHP
• Strong command of MS SQL, MySQL, Database Queries, and SQL optimization
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and version control systems
• Proven expertise in Agile Methodology and Sprint Planning
• Demonstrated Stakeholder Management and Team Management capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
