Description:

Design, build, and maintain observability platforms and services for logs, metrics, traces, and events

- Develop high-performance telemetry pipelines and instrumentation libraries in Golang, Java, or Python
- Implement and extend OpenTelemetry collectors, exporters, processors, and SDKs
- Instrument distributed systems to provide actionable, high-fidelity signals and alerts, not noise
- Build internal tooling, APIs, and services to improve debuggability, reliability, and MTTR, including AIOps capabilities
- Collaborate with application, network, platform, security, operations, and SRE teams to define observability standards and best practices
- Optimize telemetry systems for scale, cost, and reliability in cloud and containerized environments
- Diagnose complex issues across microservices, networks, and data pipelines under time pressure
- Automate everything that looks like toil
