Relationship Manager – Commercial Real Estate Finance

Role Summary

The Relationship Manager will drive the growth of the Commercial Real Estate lending business in Hyderabad through new-client acquisition, relationship management and origination of suitable lending opportunities.

The position requires hands-on CRE sales experience, strong knowledge of the Hyderabad real-estate market and established relationships with developers, brokers, intermediaries and referral partners.

Key Responsibilities Client Acquisition

- Identify and acquire real-estate developers, businesses and other eligible borrowers.
- Originate opportunities for construction finance, loan against property and other CRE lending products.
- Build relationships with property developers, promoters and finance teams.
- Develop broker, consultant and referral-partner networks.
- Generate qualified leads through direct sourcing and market relationships.

Business Development
- Achieve assigned disbursement, revenue and portfolio targets.
- Understand client funding requirements and recommend appropriate lending solutions.
- Prepare preliminary transaction proposals and commercial terms.
- Coordinate client onboarding, due diligence and documentation.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and drive timely deal conversion.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing relationships.

Transaction Coordination
- Collect and review preliminary financial and project information.
- Coordinate with Credit and Risk teams for transaction appraisal.
- Work with Legal, Technical, Valuation and Operations teams.
- Support term-sheet negotiation and sanction-condition completion.




- Ensure timely documentation and disbursement.
- Maintain transparent communication with clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Market Intelligence
- Track real-estate developments and financing activity in Hyderabad.
- Monitor prevailing property values, transaction structures and lending practices.
- Track competitor activity and emerging market opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of key developers, brokers and micro-markets.
- Provide periodic market intelligence to business leadership.

Risk and Compliance
- Ensure sourced transactions comply with internal credit policies.
- Conduct appropriate preliminary client and project checks.
- Escalate potential credit, legal, technical or reputation risks.
- Support post-disbursement relationship management and portfolio monitoring.
- Ensure documentation and regulatory requirements are completed.

Reporting
- Maintain accurate pipeline and client-interaction records.
- Submit regular reports on lead generation, sanctions, disbursements and market activity.
- Provide updates to the Zonal Sales Leader.
- Track performance against assigned business targets.

Candidate Profile
- Approximately 2–4 years of CRE lending or real-estate finance sales experience.
- Strong experience in client acquisition and loan origination.
- Knowledge of construction finance and loan against property.
- Established relationships with developers, brokers or referral partners.
- Deep understanding of the Hyderabad real-estate market.
- Currently based in Hyderabad or possessing strong local-market coverage.
- Willingness to undertake local travel.
