About the Role

We are seeking a Workday HCM and Payroll Analyst (Workday Functional Analyst, Workday Systems Analyst) to join our team. As a Workday HCM and Payroll Analyst, you will support critical human capital management and payroll operations that enable our global workforce to thrive. This position plays a key role in system configuration, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and seamless payroll execution. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, IT, and global payroll partners, follow industry-standard processes, and contribute to Workday operations from initial design through continuous optimization. Responsibilities include maintaining core HCM functionality, supporting payroll integrations, and driving process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and enhance Workday Core HCM functionality, including worker data, organizations, positions, compensation, and job architecture to ensure data accuracy and system integrity
- Support end-to-end lifecycle processes spanning hiring, onboarding, job changes, performance management, time tracking, absence management, and offboarding
- Configure and optimize business processes, security roles, routing, condition rules, and domain policies to align with organizational needs and compliance requirements
- Deliver reporting and analytics using Workday delivered reports, custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to enable data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to support talent management, recruiting, compensation, benefits, and organizational change initiatives
- Ensure data quality, audit controls, regulatory compliance, and alignment with global HR standards across all HCM operations
- Partner with Payroll and IT teams to ensure accurate HCM data flows for payroll processing globally
- Support Workday Payroll and Global Payroll integrations, including validation of pay inputs, outputs, pay components, and country-specific rules
- Manage payroll data movement and mapping for global and third-party payroll providers, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy
- Troubleshoot payroll results, perform audits, and collaborate with country payroll teams to resolve issues and maintain compliance




- Assist in integration design leveraging EIB, Studio, PECI, and API/web services for inbound and outbound data movement
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and biannual Workday releases to optimize system performance

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of Workday experience across Core HCM and Payroll or global payroll integrations
- Hands-on configuration experience with HCM business processes, security, organizations, and reporting
- Experience with payroll processing, payroll audits, pay components, and working with third-party payroll vendors
- Understanding of global HR data structures, compliance requirements, and country-specific payroll nuances
- Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, APIs), data mapping, and testing
- Workday HCM and Payroll certification
- Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Global Payroll Connect (ADP, ExPR, ExPD, notifications)
- Familiarity with compensation, time tracking, absence, and reporting frameworks
- Prior involvement in Workday R1/R2 upgrades, payroll transformation, or system optimization projects
