The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead large-scale data platform transformations, drive architectural strategy, and guide data engineering and governance across enterprise solutions. You’ll define the future of data systems — from modeling and migration to quality, security, and scalability — using modern cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), real-time streaming platforms, and advanced governance frameworks. The role is both technical and consultative, requiring deep hands-on knowledge and robust leadership in data design.

Key Responsibilities

· Define and implement cloud-native data architectures (Azure/AWS/GCP) aligned with business goals

· Architect ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like ADF, Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka, and Python

· Lead migration of legacy data systems to modern distributed data platforms

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert into scalable architecture

· Drive enterprise-wide data modeling practices (conceptual, logical, physical)

· Set up governance, metadata management, lineage tracking, and quality frameworks

· Optimize performance, security, and scalability of data systems

· Mentor engineering teams and guide best practices in data modeling and streaming architectures

· Document technical design, integration flow diagrams, and platform evolution roadmaps

· Participate in presales, discovery, and technical advisory engagements

Qualifications and Skills

Core Skills





· 10–15+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics systems

· Expertise with cloud platforms (Azure mandatory; AWS/GCP a plus)

· Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, and data pipeline orchestration

· Experience with tools like Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Flink

· Deep knowledge of data modeling, master data management, and data lineage tracking

· Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and security controls in data systems

Nice to Have

· Experience in financial services, regulated industries, or large-scale product organizations

· Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and data privacy implementation

· Exposure to predictive analytics, AI/ML pipelines, and GenAI integrations

· Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes

· Ability to lead presales, consulting, and cross-team workshops

· Led enterprise data architecture projects from discovery to delivery

· Guided cross-functional teams across globally distributed environments

· Proven ability to align data design with business and product strategy

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
